Arizona GOP chairwoman Kelli Ward promised to stop Mark Kelly husband of gunshot victim former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ) and Senate candidate dead in his tracks.
Support the Republican Party of Arizona today and, together, well stop gun-grabber Mark Kelly dead in his tracks, Ward wrote in a fundraising email, Bloomberg reported Friday.
Neither the Arizona Republican party nor the Mark Kelly campaign immediately responded to TPMs requests for comment.
Kelly, a former astronaut, is challenging Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ).
Giffords was shot in the head in 2011 while holding a constituent meeting in a grocery store parking lot. Six people were killed at the event. Giffords was gravely wounded, immediately underwent surgery and was put into a medically induced coma.

(6,831 posts)Knowing what GG has been through since 2011, this is beneath contempt.
I'm going to send Mark Kelly a swab (Every Sailor knows what this is.) so that he can wipe the floor with her ass.

Oh, I forgot, we're nice.
And before everyone piles on, we GOT where we are by being "nice", and NOT looking at politics as a long term game, rather than short term. (You know, start with the LOCAL offices and build party control from the bottom...)
Unfortunately, under the new paradigms, nice people are LOSERS.
We have a decision to make. We can be nice, or we can WIN. This is going to be an election from the gut, not the brain. I believe the huge majority of Americans are horrifically disgusted by the turd and his cult members, and will be voting to RID this country of his cancer. Fortunately our gut reaction will allow us to mirror the obvious benefits of the democratic party platform AND initiate legislation to prevent the PISSFEST on the constitution that turdface and his minions have had, at the expense of our democracy.
We NEED to take the verbal offensive, to put every turd supporter AND every coward Republican politician on the DEFENSIVE. That doesn't mean we have to lie, because we have the truth. We also don't have to be mean and vicious, because telling the truth that we are going to punish traitors appropriately (with as much specificity on the punishment as needed) will get their attention. And tRump and spawn need to know they are going to jail, and ALL their assets are going to be seized (through RICO). In jail and/or broke and penniless (sometimes being redundant helps make the point).
WE'VE been playing defense. Defense is nothing but treading water to keep from drowning. We have no control of the narrative when playing defense. We're going to have to do more than that. Let's let them see how it feels.
not fooled
(5,801 posts)that red don will run unopposed in the GOPee primary in AZ.
Also, just this week gov. douchey appointed a real RWNJ crackpot to the AZ Supreme Court after rigging the selection process (see Charlie Pierce's column yesterday).
AZ GOPee: we don't need no stinkin' democracy.

Yep, it's time to employ the tRump endorsed 'win at any cost' tactics early on.

(12,712 posts)Promiscuous gun-toters would use terminology like that and in light of the situation, the words smack of intimidation and that's what you get from terrorists in sheep's clothing.
Yes, support for promiscuity with deadly weapons is not about Second Amendment rights.
The voices of the few will not drown out the needs and interests of the many. That's the line being drawn.
