Empty Chair 'Lynched' By Anti-Obama Texas Republican Bud Johnson

Source: Huffington Post

Republican Texas homeowner Bud Johnson has a "lynched" empty chair on display in his front yard in what is likely a display of opposition to President Barack Obama.

A photo of the display at Johnson's Northwest Austin home was posted by Burnt Orange Report on Thursday.

When asked about the display, Johnson said he didn't "give a shit" if it was offensive and went on to criticize the president.

"I don't really give a damn whether it disturbs you or not," Johnson told Burnt Orange Report. "You can take [your concerns] and go straight to hell and take Obama with you. I don't give a shit. If you don't like it, don't come down my street."

The image of an empty chair became synonymous with Obama after actor Clint Eastwood talked to an empty chair representing the president while speaking at the 2012 Republican National Convention.

Civil War - Texas wrong side
Civil Rights - Texas wrong side
Gay Marriage - Texas wrong side
Sodomy Law (Put Homosexual human beings in jail) - Texas - wrong side
Interracial Marriage - Texas wrong side

Texas uses indenture servitude (AT WILL STATE) - have to work for
minimum wages or starve. Texas touts it's employment statics but
hides the truth.

Texas is near the bottom in all social statics. Texas republicans tried
redistricting, voter ID, and voter suppression (Dead voters that are
alive, especially Latino's and other people of color). Keeping Texas
bright RED, and the republicans work hard at it.

24. Speaking of voter suppression in Texas

I've had my voter registration removed within in the last year. I'm Democratic Socialist (http://www.dsausa.org) but vote Democratic in most elections, and I've voted in every election (except for three, when I was hospitalized) since I moved to Texas in 1982.

Word has it that there's going to be a BIG purge of Democrats, liberals and progressives from Texas voter registrations around the end of September and the beginning of October to prevent as many Democrats as possible from voting in November. If you are a Democratic, liberal or progressive voter and you live in Texas, it is IMPERATIVE that you check your voter registration between now and October 6 to make sure you are still registered to vote.

This evil racism which the United States of America was built upon retards the nation from its true potential.
Until it is uprooted America will never be what it is supposed to be.

Obama's reelection drives another stake through the heart of this nasty beast hopefully to wound it permanently.
The beast will be a slow death but it will eventually die & when it does America will finally live up it to its advertising.
America would never have to "spread democracy" by force.
Other countries will incorporate our system by choice because it will show itself to be worthy.

I want this man to get an ulcer when Obama's 2nd term starts.
A little heartburn for such a monkey-brained man.

Support the commander in chief, etc. That's what we heard during the Bush years, especially after the Iraq War began. Many Republicans told the country to support the commander in chief and shut up, because troops were at war.

Well, there are almost 100,000 troops still stationed in Afghanistan, so using that logic, this guy should take the chair down and shut his mouth.

This guy must be angry because most of his fellow Austinites are Democrats.

Aw, poor baby.

And if he really doesn't "give a damn whether it disturbs you or not," you would think that he would have, at least, given the reporter his full name.

I know this is Texas, but I'm still betting that "Bud Johnson" isn't his full name.

I believe TCAD. Have not done any searches, so actual address of home may be in outlying area, but nevertheless would be discoverable.

But I still contend that if "Bud" was so proud of himself, he wouldn't be hiding behind some nickname. He would have identified himself so that there could be no confusion with someone else with the same name.

the Secret Service is looking into instances such as this. IMHO, their interest is appropriate.

East Texas is very very conservative. My congresscretin is Joe Barton.

People drove by in their pickups and yelled FUCK OBAMA

They could have shot me in my own yard if they'd wanted to.

I did not feel safe.
