Robert Hyde: Giuliani associate discussed surveilling Marie Yovanovitch

Source: CNN

An associate of Rudy Giuliani appeared to discuss with another man the surveillance of US ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch before she was ousted from her post last year, according to a tranche of documents made public Tuesday as part of the House impeachment inquiry.

The documents introduced a colorful new participant -- Connecticut congressional candidate Robert F. Hyde -- in the push by Giuliani and his allies to remove Yovanovitch, an effort that is at the center of impeachment proceedings in Washington and federal investigations in New York.

In a series of text messages with Giuliani associate Lev Parnas in March 2019, Hyde, an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump who has donated thousands of dollars to Republican politics and the Trump campaign, discussed Yovanovitch's whereabouts in Ukraine.

Using coarse language, Hyde suggested to Parnas that Yovanovitch should be removed from her position, and Hyde implied he or his allies were monitoring her.

Colorful is not the word I would choose to describe this crazy, murderous GOP loser.

My reaction was like your, he is a criminal, nothing colorful about that. When you discuss murder in such a loose and cavalier manner, you are not only sick, but you are dangerous and the FBI and CIA should be investigating him.

2. The messages reveal that Donald Trump's henchmen were plotting something sinister

Daily Beast managed to track down Robert Hyde, giving him the opportunity to tell his side of the story. But Hyde apparently didn’t bother to refute the legitimacy of the text messages, or even try to tamp down the interpretations of the text messages. Instead, Hyde’s response to today’s news was this: “Bull Schiff is a giant b*tch.”

The messages reveal that Donald Trump’s henchmen were plotting something sinister against U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch – and not merely trying to get her fired. One person asks, “What should I do with this? … They are moving her tomorrow … The guys over [there] asked me what I would like to do and what is in it for them … She’s talked to three people. Her phone is off. Computer is off … They are willing to help if we/you would like a price … Guess you can do anything in the Ukraine with money … It’s confirmed we have a person inside … Hey brother do we stand down? Or do you still need intel?”

3. Hyde was "involuntarily committed" for paranoia at Trump Doral

His breakdown happened just a few weeks after Marie Yovanovitch was sent back to the US for her own security.

According to an “incident/investigation” report filed by the Doral, Florida, police department, on May 16, 2019, an officer was dispatched to the Trump National Doral Miami to deal with a “male in distress fearing for his life.” That man was Hyde. The report noted that Hyde explained to the police officer that “he was in fear for his life, was set up and that a hit man was out to get him. Mr. Hyde spoke about e-mails he sent that may have placed his life in jeopardy. Mr. Hyde explained several times that he was paranoid that someone was out to get him.”

8. Hyde was with Trump the same day Trump first called President Zelensky

"Hyde's social media accounts are littered with photographs of him with Parnas, Trump and his close allies. In a photo posted on the website of the Connecticut Post newspaper, Hyde posed for a selfie with Trump on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, the same day Trump first called Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky."

He's a "lobbyist" who used to run a "security detail" in Iraq. He probably has shady contacts all over the world. He had Ambassador Yovanovitch under surveillance, knows the level of her security, meets with Trump, and then Trump says she would "go through some things".

And a few days before she was suddenly recalled by Trump (April 25), with others in the State Dept warning her it was for her security that she had to be spirited back in the middle of the night.

Was why she was told to leave at once for fear an attack was imminent towards her if she stayed. I also think trumps used people to illegally use surveillance with illegal wiretapping , and other means to find dirt on anyone he feels threatens exposing him, and to expose others with , like he's been accused of doing in business.

Will it be on our TV's 24/7 like the salacious info that we heard about President Clinton 24/7?

This is some scary stuff. When I watched Yovanovitch's testimony I couldn't help but see how frightened she seemed at times, especially when talking about her removal. She wasn't just puzzled about why she was removed. She must have feared for her life.

This country is being run by a mafialike group of people.

That has been my thought as well, even before this happened. There are proofs of wrongdoing coming out everyday, I believe Democrats can make such a solid case (not that they don't have one now) that not even threatened republicans can run away from.

and did a lot of crazy stuff, his name was Rob Ford. The one difference is that Ford seem to be harmless while Hyde seems to want to be part of the mafia and lead a hit man squad, in other words, Hyde seems to be wanting to become a murderer.
