Terry Jones dead: Monty Python legend dies aged 77

Source: Evening Standard

Monty Python star Terry Jones has died at the age of 77, his agent has said.

The actor passed away on 21 January with his wife Anna by his side, his family confirmed.

In 2016, Jones' representatives announced he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia leaving him unable to give interviews as the disorder began to affect his ability to communicate.

Jones was also a prolific children’s author and well-respected medieval historian and in 2016 was awarded a Lifetime Achievement award from BAFTA Cymru for his outstanding contribution to TV and film.

and for him, his family and friends this is likely a relief. For the rest of us it is just sad, very sad to lose someone like Terry Jones. Damn, just so sad to lose this man who gave so many such a joy and buckets of laughter.

I bought one of his children's books way back in the 80's. My children did not appreciate it. I did but it was a little much for them. lol

RIP Mr. Jones and thank you for a lifetime of laughs.

I put it away when we moved and have not opened that box (that was over 10 years ago). That sounds possible though. I sure enjoyed it!

EDIT, no it was not that book
