Video: Standing with WV Gov. Jim Justice, Liberty U. President Jerry Falwell Calls for "VEXIT"

Source: Blue Virginia

Falwell: " I will also be supporting any efforts to let the people decide the question of Virginia counties joining the state of West Virginia…I hope history will also record one day how Virginia divided once again in our decade because the interest of those in Richmond were so divergent from those of us to the west, just as they were with Kentucky and West Virginia…We need a state government that is not elected by federal workers in the suburbs of Washington DC, as is the case now in Virginia, that will protect our god-given rights, to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And I believe West Virginia will do precisely that.”

One can argue that with the declaration of secession Virginia had dissolved itself into a mere territory and it's legislature wasn't needed for Article IV, section 3.

I’m tired enough of the Republican Party and the utterly corrupt people in it, including DJT and Moscow Mitch. If I thought such a thing could be done easily, I would support a blue country and a red country. Unfortunately, it would be most difficult.

I read that the original plan was to create a rectangular District of Columbia, and the four states around it were supposed to all give up the same amount of land. This book said that the reason D.C. is not rectangular is that one state finked on the deal.

I believe this book said that Virginia was that state. And, when I look at a map, I see visual evidence for that claim. So maybe these people should blame their ancestors for all those terrible Washington DC government workers ruining their state.

The process of dividing a state, dismantling a state or merging states it laid out in Article IV, Section 3 of the United States Constitution.

"no new States shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.

Ain't gonna happen.

How is this going to help them do God's work? Helping the poor? Speaking out against the "love of money." Are they really following the God of the Bible?
