After Flynn reversal, Trump signals his FBI director is on thin ice
Source: Washington Post
President Trump voiced uncertainty Friday over the future of his FBI director, Christopher A. Wray, a day after the Justice Department moved to throw out the guilty plea of the presidents former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn.
The presidents comments in a phone interview with Fox News highlight the ongoing distrust between the White House and some senior law enforcement officials in the wake of a nearly two-year investigation by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III into the Russias 2016 election interference and the Trump campaign.
Its disappointing, Trump said when asked about Wrays role in the ongoing reviews of the FBIs handling of the Russia investigation. Lets see what happens with him. Look, the jurys still out.
Trump faulted the FBI director for skirting the debate surrounding the Russia investigation, although the agency and the Justice Department have insisted it has cooperated fully with officials reviewing the case.

(43,161 posts)Wray has honorably, quietly by necessity at times, fulfilled the role of FBI Director. He has been demure to Trump's tantrums when needed. To ditch him is a hostile takeover. Every American should be worried.

(24,701 posts)And in this BS that that is now happening, the damn "media" when and if there is future frog marching of this asshole and others, that they asked him during the debate, some really fucking hard questions, and none of this softball BS, that helps him deflect his shit sandwich..........., they better understand this......................the public is not going to tolerate this shit..........and those that do tolerate this shit need to be called out................because he has declared war on this society.............literally and the media needs to be saying it .................NOW ...............

(43,161 posts)you're right it is a shit sandwich. Trump doesn't answer. He does something weird and no one knows what to do about it. HRC should have, in the moment, called out his stalking her around the stage, lurking like a goon ... "What are you doing? Don't be getting all weird and creepy ...." Women would have understood, but it was behavior so out of the norm, so left field, so bizarre that all were stunned. It was a moment for war and conflict.
Debate with Biden? What if Biden overperforms like he did against Ryan, and laughs Trump out of the room? Think Trump will accept it? Think the RNC won't make noise? There's nothing to be gained by debates. Everyone's mind is made up except a 7-8% of Independents. We could split those 50-50 and still win. Why give Trump a stage?

(24,701 posts)spread his shit sandwich and then lets see what the media does, the media needs to explain it that context..........we are not going to allow someone that has been attacking this society, and the rule of law to be given a platform to further this mantra...............He Biden should be given as much air time to explain what he is going to do, and push the traitor off the side and not be given that equal time respond that is how he is taking this country down and everyone else playing by the former rules of normalcy and he is not............he doesn't play by rules then the media should not give him, him, the traitor equal time put him the back ground..............but keep an eye on him.................
I agree the "independents" for whatever reason need to think of the principles of this country and not be sitting on there proverbial fence.........we are going to win this election, why give trump the stage..........

(17,387 posts)...who are undecided is BS.
Trump has been installing loyalists at all levels of government who are not interested in performing their duties, but in catering to the orange fascist. Make no mistake that if it comes down to it, the Trump administration will not let something such as election results stand in their way. Trump and Republicans will not hesitate to arrest Bernie, Biden, Pelosi, etc., to maintain their hold on power.
