Americans Didn't Wait For Their Governors To Tell Them To Stay Home Because Of COVID-19

Source: fivethirtyeight

But, at least on the front end of this crisis, Americans weren’t deciding what to do based on politics. Americans living in red states appear to have taken the crisis plenty seriously; data shows that residents there were staying home well before their governors issued stay-at-home orders.

Through various means like cutting off unemployment checks for people invited back to work, who fail to report.

but that strategy only gets the employees out. It does not get customers. And without customers there isn't any economy recovery.

We started hunkering down the first week of March. I had been stocking my pantry since I first heard of it in December- I think it was on the news on our anniversary. I hoped it wouldn’t be this bad...

When we get to the point of lowlife scum Repugs mandating that we walk outside, it's time to leave the country.

If what's his name gets another second-place victory, that's what's coming next.

We have enough American popular votes. It's really up to Putin.

I loaded up the last week in February on hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, and aloe gel both for my home and our office staff. My boss laughed at me at the time. I work in a medical office. 😧

Def no laughing now, and everyone is very appreciative we have plenty of hand sanitizer in our office and in the nurses’ personal kits when they hit the road to visit patients. I still haven’t had to buy more.

We can make our own decisions. I think it was said that we aren't supposed to take him literally, so we've learned his code - after 3 1/2 years, the truth is opposite of anything he says. Which means he wants us all to die.

But some still don't get don't it. We ventured out yesterday so my friend could deposit her stimulus check. The bank is drive through only, Walmart uses masks and social distancing but Pruetts, other grocery store, has a teenaged greeter in a mask wiping down carts and that is IT. No masks, nothing, just a few of us old people in masks & gloves. Who knows if the stockers even wash their hands? We won't be back. Morons.
