Trump campaign manager tests positive for Covid-19

Source: Politico

Donald Trump’s campaign manager has tested positive for Covid-19, dealing another blow to his reelection effort on a day that saw the president and the head of the Republican National Committee report contracting the disease as well.

Bill Stepien received his diagnosis Friday evening and was experiencing what one senior campaign official described as “mild flu-like symptoms.” People familiar with the situation said the 42-year-old Stepien plans to quarantine until he recovers.

Deputy Campaign Manager Justin Clark is expected to oversee the Trump team’s Arlington, Va. headquarters while Stepien works remotely, though advisers stressed that he would maintain control of the campaign.

Stepien’s disclosure means the two heads of the president’s political apparatus have now contracted the coronavirus: RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced earlier Friday that she, too, is infected. The news comes at a perilous moment for Trump, with polls showing him trailing former Vice President Joe Biden in an array of battleground states and dwindling days to make up the lost ground.

There is a point where ignorance and arrogance in the wake of a pandemic comes with a price.

What's unbelievable about this is the death count escalated to 209,764...but NOW it's non-stop front page breaking news because of what's happening in Trump's inner circle.

I'm struggling to recall anything else being discussed on MSNBC in the last 24 hours other than how this is affecting Trump and those close to him.

Trump tried to make them disappear and pretend that they did not perish under his watch. Indeed, to compound his incompetence, Trump threatened to plunge the country into civil unrest to distract from the tragedy he helped cause. So, he instigates a tragedy to hide one that he helped cause.

We’re seeing people with access to the best health care ignore the rules and get sick. These are people too stupid to run any government, much less one the size of the US government.

It indicates that A) they are all-in with their God-Idol, to the point of abandoning all reason, and...

B) that their illogical choices usually have very negative consequences for them.

...it was from Trump's "TAKE IT, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE" press conference hyping hydroxychloroquine.

But whoever put the video together played the sound of him saying this stuff, and intercut it between Trump and video footage of Jim Jones speaking. The intent was clear, no hidden messages, and yeah...there is a reason why Kool Aid has a prominent role in the Trump administration.

perhaps Trump could get one of his former Campaign Managers to help out...

1) Paul Manafort? No, he's in jail.
2) Corey Lewandowski? No, he assaulted a woman.
3) Kelly Anne Conway? No, she just tested positive for COVID-19
4) Steve Bannon? No, he was arrested and is awaiting trial.
5) Brad Parscale? Now, he allegedly ripped Trump off for $40 million and is currently in the looney bin.

And now, Bill Stepien has tested positive for COVID-19. Hmm, everything Trump touches really does die, or at least has really bad things happen to them.
