Trump should have canceled 'reckless' N.J. fundraiser after COVID-19 exposure, Gov. Murphy says

President Donald Trump should have canceled a fundraiser last week at his New Jersey golf club after one of his closest aides tested positive for COVID-19, but he instead potentially exposed hundreds of people at the event to infection, Gov. Phil Murphy said Monday morning.
To have a group of folks coming in out of state coming in knowingly having been exposed to someone whos COVID-positive is really, really frustrating, Murphy said during an interview Monday morning on CBS.
Nobody should have come to New Jersey," he added. That trip should have been canceled. ... The trip itself was the wrong decision at every level.
...
This borders on reckless in terms of exposing people, not just in New Jersey, but it looks like with folks around the country, who have now scattered, Murphy said of the event during a separate interview Monday morning on CNN.
