Delta to Bring Heavy Rainfall, Gusty Winds and Isolated Tornadoes to the South on Saturday

Delta will continue to weaken as it tracks across the South this weekend, where it will bring locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds and a few tornadoes.
Delta is moving northeast at just over 15 mph and is expected to weaken over the Tennessee Valley.
Rainfall associated with Delta is affecting a broad area from the lower Mississippi Valley into parts of the Southeast.
NOAA's Storm Prediction Center has issued a tornado watch for southeastern and eastern Alabama and western Georgia until 8 p.m. CDT or 9 p.m EDT. This watch area includes Atlanta and Columbus, Georgia and Dothan, Alabama.
