Harris cancels travel after Biden campaign announces positive Covid tests

Sen. Kamala Harris has canceled all campaign travel through this weekend “out of an abundance of caution” after a flight crew member and her communications director tested positive for coronavirus, the Biden campaign announced Thursday.

Harris, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, has tested negative for coronavirus twice over the past week, Biden's campaign said.

“Senator Harris was not in close contact, as defined by the CDC, with either of these individuals during the two days prior to their positive tests; as such, there is no requirement for quarantine,” Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon said in a statement.

Neither of the individuals who tested positive had contact with Harris or former Vice President Joe Biden “or any other staffers since testing positive or in the 48 hours prior to their positive test results,” O’Malley Dillon said.

But dammit, after RBG passed, its made me more anxious. I am just hoping Joe stays healthy. At his age, he is very susceptible. And I wouldn't be shocked, in fact I'd expect, Trump and the GOP to use that against him, especially if it hit Joe harder than on himself, and he had to be hospitalized. And if he had to withdraw, it would throw the whole election up in the air. And create the perfect storm for Trump to steal the election, and be able to use the excuse that voters wanted assurance of a healthy President, and also did not want to vote for the "radical leftist" Kamala Harris.
