Harris says she has 'not yet' spoken to Pence
Source: The Hill
Vice President-elect Kamala Harris told reporters on Wednesday that she had "not yet" spoken with Vice President Pence since she and President-elect Joe Biden were projected to win the race for the White House earlier this month.
Asked on Wednesday whether she had spoken to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Harris told reporters that she "can't speak directly to that," she said according to a pool report.
"I will tell you that it has been the priority for the president-elect and me from the beginning that we intend to and will work across the aisle to deal with these most intractable issues that are affecting people regardless of who they voted for in the election," Harris said.
As vice president, Harris will become the president of the Senate and cast deciding votes should the upper chamber be tied.

(43,280 posts)I think that is an indication that aides have been communicating, but no direct conversation?
The efforts to steal this election, and the continuing cold war indicates to me that Republicans know they will NEVER again come this close to dictatorship. It's taken 40 years or 88 years to get to this point, depending on how you look at it. And once it's gone, it's gone for a long, long time.

(9,966 posts)... she should state some possible reason why he has not conceded the VP title to her... for example, "I believe Mr. Pence intends to remain Vice-President, so it would be very uncomfortable for him to call me. I pray he can and his family can be removed with as much dignity and comfort as possible." Then, let Pence respond!

No wonder Trump felt no need to replace him as his running mate. He's perfect. Stays in the background, giving his boss all the limelight. Other than when he gets the chance in front of the mic, to heap praise on his Dear Leader.
