In my opinion Pence looked frustrated, tired and disappointed with the objections. Don’t like him but I can appreciate that much

makes decision of the legislature, isn't that her actual role as the SOS to run Arizona elections via the various boards throughout the state. There was no objection back in 2016, but maybe that because the previous SOS was a REpublican.

Look, I don't particularly care how difficult his life is after today. That being said, he is clearly in a miserable position. If Pence has any respect for the vice presidency and his oath of office (which despite his repugnant political views, I do believe he does), I can imagine his frustration and disgust at being ordered to abuse his vice presidential powers and abandon his oath of office in order to strip voters of their voice for no other reason than his boss refuses to accept reality.

I don't like the man. I think he is a regressive asshole. I do believe he is in a situation that he doesn't want to be in and never thought in a million years he would be asked by a president of the United States to destroy our democracy. That's just my take. Sympathy for the man in the office, not the man.

But I do have respect that he told Trump directly that he could not do what he was being asked to do. He showed some backbone, even if he is legally in a box.

He is a lifelong republican so lying is second nature. I expect that from him. This is however is something entirely different.

These clowns are in there with their useless objections, stating that they want 4 more years of trump, and then all hell breaks loose and they have to be evacuated for their own safety since trump's thugs are taking over the building. And when this all gets back to business, are they REALLY going to sit there and fight to have 4 more years of trump??? Are they REALLY going to defend him????
