Source: CNN

Two Capitol Police officers have been suspended and another person has been arrested for their alleged involvement in the riot on Jan. 6, said Rep. Tim Ryan, who is chair of the House Appropriations subcommittee handling the investigation into the police response to the Capitol attack last week.

“I know that there were two people that were suspended,” Ryan said during a press call. “One was the selfie officer and another was an officer that put a MAGA hat on that started directing some people around,” the lawmaker said.

Ryan confirmed that there are approximately 10 to 15 Capitol Police officers under investigation for their behavior during the riot, but he did not have specific details.

The Ohio Democrat had fewer details regarding the individual who was arrested.

Suspension isn't good enough for the "selfie officer" - he should be fired. nt iluvtennis Jan 2021 #15
It will happen, and there will be prosecution, too. They have to suspend first, pending charges. George II Jan 2021 #16

charged with complicity in the murder of one colleague and the injuries of others! If I were one of their non-complicit fellow officers, I'd feel so betrayed and angry!

How deep is the trump rot in law enforcement? I'm sure more of this could be coming and let's hope there are more true American heros than trump scum!

the reason behind an officer's suicide on Saturday. He couldn't live with the death and injuries, and maybe also the shame and fear of his complicity being uncovered.

It seems that ordinary citizens are not in legal peril as long as they stayed outside the Capitol, but that doesn't hold true for military members, or police officers. Simply attending was crossing the line for them.
