Judge whose son was killed by gunman says Sotomayor also targeted
Source: The Hill
A federal judge whose son was killed by a gunman last year says Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor was also a target of the assailant.
U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas, whose husband was wounded in the 2020 shooting, made the remarks during a report on CBS News's "60 Minutes" that's set to air this weekend, CNN reported on Friday.
"They found another gun, a Glock, more ammunition. But the most troubling thing they found was a manila folder with a workup on Justice Sonia Sotomayor," Salas said in the interview.
The alleged gunman - Roy Den Hollander, a lawyer who knew Salas - later shot himself.

And to realize those dreams he had to decrease American, European, British power.
Create chaos and damage. He has done quite well.

(47,501 posts)how much he has accomplished and very cheaply with little violence. I think if he did achieve all his goals, he still wouldn't be happy. For people like that, there is never enough and it is the process, not the end result that drives them. Like playing a game and the whole world is your game board. Governments and people are just pawns.

(47,501 posts)There really is never enough, which must be a terrible way to live. I suppose it is like always being hungry no matter how much you eat. I suppose it must be some kind of disorder and if they weren't so destructive, you might even feel badly for them, but they cause so much pain and suffering to so many people in their insatiable desire for more. It seems to be a common thread with tyrants throughout history.

Attack on Judge Salas in New Jersey May Link to Murder of SoCal Lawyer

The FBI is now investigating a possible connection between the murder of a mens rights lawyer in San Bernardino County and the attack on a U.S. District Judges family in New Jersey. At the center of the bizarre case is an anti-feminist lawyer found dead earlier this week.
On Sunday, a gunman disguised in a FedEx uniform knocked on the door of U.S. District Judge Esther Salass home in North Brunswick, New Jersey. Salas son, 20-year-old Daniel Anderl, was shot and killed when he opened the door, and her husband, defense attorney Mark Anderl, was injured. Salas was in the basement at the time and wasnt harmed.
The prime suspect in the shooting is Roy Den Hollander, the New York Times reports. Den Hollander was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in a car in upstate New York, about two hours from Salas home. In that car, investigators found a package addressed to Salas and a photo of another judge, New York State Chief Judge Janet M. DiFore.
On the afternoon of Saturday, July 11, Marc Angelucci, a mens rights attorney and vice president of the National Coalition For Men (NCFM), was shot and killed at the door of his Crestline home. Angelucci was responsive when deputies arrived but died at the scene, according to the Desert Sun. A law enforcement source told CNN the gunman was believed to be wearing a delivery uniform at the time of the attack.
