(11,571 posts)I find that, even when I have money on a race, it doesn't really excite me much. So, with that context in mind, I sometimes wonder why they still hold these events after Secretariat. Probably the one time I felt a shiver from watching a horse race.
For me, there was that horse....and hundreds of also-rans.
