Nevada GOP candidate for governor who hadn't been vaccinated tests positive for coronavirus

Hours after launching his campaign for governor, a Nevada Republican who had not yet received the coronavirus vaccine said he had just tested positive for the virus.

John Lee, the mayor of North Las Vegas, launched his campaign to unseat Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak on Monday. His entrance into the 2022 race came weeks after he had switched parties, accusing Democrats of drifting toward socialism and embracing "cancel culture."

Lee, a 65-year-old cancer survivor and former state lawmaker who was elected mayor in 2013 and reelected in 2017, announced his positive test in a Facebook post on Monday night -- without explaining why he had not been vaccinated.

"I was informed late Monday afternoon that someone I had come in contact with had tested positive for COVID-19. I immediately went to get tested, and tested positive, while following all CDC guidelines. I am feeling well, with no symptoms, and will be quarantining according to CDC guidelines and consultation with my doctor. I beat cancer and I'll beat Covid-19. I had not yet gotten the vaccine, and I'd like this to serve as a reminder to all to continue to take proper precautions, as well as ask for prayers for all who have been affected by this virus."

Was that a hoax, or did doctors explain it to him in ways he could understand?

Was it God’s will? Smoking? Or just one of those things thot can happen? Like, say, COVID-19?

How did he survive it? Gods will? Or science?Chemotherapy? Radiation? What was in the chemical? Did they stop him from doing it? How ‘bout radiation.

Amazing. He survived cancer but might die from a hoax.

He's only gonna be hot for a while, he has to start shaking GOP donors' hands and hugging their partners right now.

Time for a trip to the Mar-a-Lago Oval Office to see the Philanderer In Chief for advice on the hoax.

for folks who won't get vaccinated unless they have a legitimate medical excuse. Don't want to get vaccinated, then let the market correct the problem.

Won't work in this case since he's probably on Medicare

I'll guarantee that he has not been wearing a mask.
CDC Guidelines state that you can go maskless indoors & outdoors if you are FULLY vaccinated.
So if he was not wearing a mask, he's not following CDC Guidelines.

After searching the internet, I have not seen any image of the NLV Mayor with a mask on.
