Some airports are reporting long lines after a computer system malfunction delayed check-ins for travelers.
The third party system outage has reportedly been resolved, but delays remain.
Kennedy Airport in New York noted that the system outage affected American Airlines and Jet Blue. Long lines were also reported in Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago.

((The TV reported the outage has been resolved, but the lines still remain.))

That's the way it was for months, maybe a year, back in the 1980s when Reagan fired all the air traffic controllers.
