Source: CBS Boston

BOSTON (CBS) – A reservation system used by several airlines went down early Friday morning causing long lines at Logan Airport.

Hundreds of people have been waiting to check into their flights on American Airlines at Terminal B.

Some airports are reporting long lines after a computer system malfunction delayed check-ins for travelers.

The third party system outage has reportedly been resolved, but delays remain.

Kennedy Airport in New York noted that the system outage affected American Airlines and Jet Blue. Long lines were also reported in Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago.
