Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse has hired a new attorney in his homicide case

Source: Business Insider

Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse has retained a new attorney in his double homicide case, according to Kenosha County Circuit Court records seen by Insider.

Rittenhouse, 18, retained attorney Corey Chirafisi, of the Madison, Wisconsin-based firm Chirafisi & Verhoff, S.C., on Friday, just before a pre-trial hearing.

Chirafisi is listed alongside Rittenhouse's other attorney, Mark Richards, in court records. He was hired two months after Rittenhouse fired his former lawyer, John Pierce.

Rittenhouse has been charged in the fatal shooting of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and wounding of Gaige Grosskreutz during a Black Lives Matter protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last year.

They're going to play up his youth to get him a lighter sentence. But both him and his mom need to go to prison.

He might do the rest, but he can't pardon state convictions.
The judge of the case keeps being referred to as a "Wisconsin judge".
That's why I'm thinking this is state, not federal.

Fired 1, hired another, hired yet another. Why?

Are the new ones wingnut lawyers, or real defend-you-from-murder-charges lawyers?

I'm hoping charges are pending for the straw purchaser of the MSSA. Neither of them should be allowed near a firearm ever again.

All because Rosenbaum chucked a can of tuna at him? Pitiful.

Lawyers keep telling him the self-defense ploy won’t work when you put yourself into the situation he was in and when you’re walking around with an illegal gun. So, he’s trying to find a lawyer who can somehow either play up the jury’s sympathies or put a Trump supporter on the panel.

Its how the Hokoanas walked away from the charges they were facing in Seattle (https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/crime/mistrial-declared-in-trial-of-couple-accused-of-uw-assault-after-jury-cant-reach-a-verdict/), how the Bundys walked away for the Malheur NWR Occupation.

1 juror refuses; mistrial.

Maybe he's hoping for a Trump pardon after he sweeps the country with MAGA Fever in 2024.
He doesn't have a chance for either, but the lawyers love it. Clearly, someone's wasting money on this jerk.
