Cheney primary challenger says he impregnated 14-year-old when he was 18

Source: NBC News

A state senator in Wyoming who's running against U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney and four others in a Republican primary acknowledged he impregnated a 14-year-old girl when he was 18, vowing not to end his campaign for Congress.

It was a disclosure he said he was forced to make because of "the establishment swamp," but he did not explicitly blame Cheney or any of the other candidates in the race.

"Everybody has something in their life that they did... We’ve all had these problems. Why is this a big deal?" state Sen. Anthony Bouchard said Thursday in a Facebook Live video about the relationship.

"So, bottom line, it's a story when I was young. Two teenagers, girl gets pregnant. You've heard those stories before. She was a little younger than me, so it's like the Romeo and Juliet story," he said.

They married when she was 15, then committed suicide at 20 after a bitter divorce. Sad story.

Hell, he could impregnate them now/i], and Republicans wouldn't give a shit. They have no morals, values, or principles other than "win at all costs."

If anything, this career-shattering admission will only endear him further to the cult, as long as he flatters the sacred orange asshole.

I seriously doubt it was legal even 40 years ago, but for the sake of argument let's say the laws were different back then and it was legal for an 18 yr old to have sex with a 14 yr old. Describing rape in modern terms as a "Romeo and Juliet" story is absolutely disgusting and even more so when you realize she committed suicide.

I'm thinking we are going to need a bigger basket for the GOP.

Florida's age of consent is 18. They have a close in exemption that allows minors aged 16 or 17 to legally engage in sexual intercourse with a partner no older than 23. Since she was only 14 at the time, that exemption would not have applied.

I don't know what Florida's age of consent was back then, but I don't think it was as low as 14.

Bouchard’s son, Tony Raymond Bouchard, is currently imprisoned at the Bob Wiley Detention Facility in Visalia, California, on multiple convictions, including sodomy by use of force, sexual penetration by foreign object and false imprisonment by violence. He has been incarcerated since 2018.

He's a man who had sex with a 14 year old, an 8th grader. He was clearly father of the year, based on his son's prison term for sexual assault. Apple. Tree.

However, this is horse shit:

"Two teenagers, girl gets pregnant. You've heard those stories before. She was a little younger than me, so it's like the Romeo and Juliet story,"

He's never read R & J; Plot laid out in first 14 lines, and I don't see pregnant 14 yer old in there anywhere...

Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Do with their death bury their parents' strife.
The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love,
And the continuance of their parents' rage,
Which, but their children's end, nought could remove,
Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.

Did she abort? Was she forced to endure the pregnancy and childbirth? Are you supporting her and the kid? Her life didn't end because a selfish male who wouldn't wear a condom knocked her up when she was a child. There is a hell of a lot more you need to confess to, buddy. If her life wasn't ruined, she had to grow up one hell of a lot faster than she should have.

Maybe you stopped thinking about her years ago, you SOB, but you can bet your ass you're the only one who has among all the people who knew her then and know her now.

Bouchard proudly recounts how he would not let her have an aborton because of his "pro life" values. And insisted they marry. They got married when she was 15, and she had a boy. They then had a bitter divorce, and she ended up committing suicide at age 20. Their son ended up troubled, and has no relationship with Bouchard. The girl's father, a cop, ended committing suicide as well.

Bouchard ruined a lot of lives.

Her father, a cop, committed suicide as well.

This is what lack of reproductive freedom looks like. And what a lack of a sense of responsibility by a grown man looks like.

Meanwhile, Bouchard still brags about how he maintained his "pro life" principles, insisting that this 14-year-old CHILD have his baby and marry him.

Oh, and the son he forced that child to have turned out very troubled (currently in jail for sodomy by force, among other crimes) and has no relationship with Bouchard.

Bouchard wrecked a lot of lives.

He should have been prosecuted for statutory rape.

He says they were "both teenagers" and she was "a little younger" than him. He was 18. An adult. She was FOUR YEARS younger, not just "a littlle younger." She was 14. A child. That's statutory rape. Age of consent in Florida where he did this was 18 and still is.

“This is really a message about how dirty politics is,” said Bouchard, one of Wyoming’s most prominent gun rights advocates. “They’ll stop at nothing, man, when you get in the lead and when you’re somebody that can’t be controlled, you’re somebody who works for the people. They’ll come after you. That’s why good people don’t run for office.

Sounds like a confession to me.

Have been made acceptable because of the orange asshole.

They accuse the Dems of being pedophiles and child molesters. Of having sex rings and imprisoning women and underage teens as sex slaves and everyday we here yet another right wing doing the very thing they accuse us of.

Projection

They also accuse us cannibalism.

How long until some prominent right wing gop asshole comes clean about being a cannibal? And the right wing mouth breathers will be just okay with that.

All is acceptable to them. There is no bottom.
