Ohio man arrested days after confronting NBC News' Shaquille Brewster on live TV
Source: NBC News
The Ohio man who angrily confronted NBC News' Shaquille Brewster on live television was arrested in Dayton on Thursday, authorities said.
Benjamin Eugene Dagley, 54, was picked up at a shopping plaza in the southwest Ohio city, U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said in a statement.
Dagley is wanted in Gulfport, Mississippi, where he'll be charged with two counts of assault, one count of disturbance of the peace and one count of violation of emergency curfew, officials said.
"This violent fugitive was attempting to flee from his charges in Gulfport but the swift work of our task force members resulted in a timely arrest," Elliott said.

(33,345 posts)Dayton? Cleveland?
& what in the living F was he doing in Gulfport? He violated parole to drive INTO a hurricane?
Its a 12 hour, 800 mile drive to Gulfport MS each way from Dayton. In a full size pickup that gets 20 mpg MAYBE, that's $300 worth of gas.

(328 posts)He lives near here. Dayton area.
He had an electroplating business near here, and broke into a competitor to drill holes in their chemical tanks. One was something - cyanide. The others weren't much nicer. Security guard caught him.
Convicted, he had to do $15,000 in restitution, a $5000 fine, and probation. Great to be White, ain't it.
