Video shows unruly passenger yelling at crew on American Airlines flight
Sept. 7, 2021, 2:21 PM CDT
A Las Vegas man traveling from California to Utah was cited by police after he caused a disruption on an American Airlines flight Monday.
The incident was partly captured on video and shows Timothy Armstrong, 61, pointing and yelling at people on Flight 1802 from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City. He's also seen getting out of his seat several times. At one point in the video, a flight attendant demanded that Armstrong sit down until the plane had landed.
Armstrong then shouts, "Joe Biden! Really?" He is later seen snarling and growling while he adjusts his mask.
Dennis Busch,.......
"He began by yelling at the Asian woman in front of me to sit down when she was standing to deal with a back issue," he said. "He proceeded to tell multiple flight attendants that she and her companion 'didnt belong here.' After asking him to calm down the man went into a complete meltdown of racist, sexist and belligerent comments, culminating in his arrest at the gate."

I hope this dangerous, selfish man has the book thrown at him.
Also, it is obvious he is biased toward Asians.

(47,419 posts)and it has become so commonplace. It is like some mass insanity, but Democrats appear to have immunity. If this was science fiction or a thriller, it would be considered too far-out, except maybe as satire.

(9,981 posts)Their names need to available to every airline, and every one of these idiots needs to banned from flying on any domestic airline. And then share the database with foreign carriers so they can choose to ban them as well. These people need immediate consequences, not the fines that may come later and may never be collected. I would think that this database would be similar to the one created after 9/11 to track potential terrorists. As far as Im concerned, these people are terrorists who are threatening the safety of all other passengers on the plane. How long before one is able to smuggle a gun on a plane and start using it? Airport security does not always find all weapons. We shouldnt wait until someone manages to cause a crash.

(17,387 posts)Of course, if he himself was Asian, the airline and the airline had overbooked the flight, they would have happily administered a beat down on him then and there.

Outrage has erupted on Chinese and Vietnamese social media over the removal of a passenger from an overbooked United Airlines flight.
Videos posted online showed security officers dragging the man, who appears to be Asian, from the flight.
The man has not yet been identified. One eyewitness said he was a "Chinese American doctor", while another said he was originally from Vietnam.
United Airlines apologised for "having to re-accommodate" the passengers.

(17,387 posts)...in 2017 was not white and was not throwing a MAGA inspired tantrum. Good catch.
Yet, unlike the white male who was being an all around asshole, airport security decided to beat him down even though he had a ticket.
