It will be two years since the surgery at the end of this month. We walked into the hospital at noon, and out at 5:30.

I always had regular mammograms but when my cancer was discovered (I felt it on self-exam when it was about 1/2 inch in size) it had already migrated to numerous lymph nodes and was stage 3C. It's now been four years since I finished treatment, so I am optimistic.

I wish her the best!

I should ask my PCP to order another breast scan at the radiology clinic the next time I see her, as it's been over a year since my last scan, and I've been noticing some worrying signs in recent weeks.

Stage 1. Never felt a thing. It was discovered on a routine mammogram. It hadn’t spread, so no chemo.
Get your mammograms! Early detection is key!

It could be nothing. Or something.
I’m kinda terrified, but whatever it is, it’s very early on.
I’m glad to hear the Senator has recovered.
