Australian GPs banned from prescribing Ivermectin to Covid-19 patients

Australia’s medicines regulator has banned general practitioners from prescribing Ivermectin tablets for Covid-19.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration says GPs are now only able to prescribe Ivermectin for approved conditions including scabies and certain parasitic infections.

“These changes have been introduced because of concerns with the prescribing of oral Ivermectin for the claimed prevention or treatment of Covid-19,” the TGA said in a statement on Friday.

Ivermectin is a common drug used to treat parasites but it has gained notoriety as a discredited coronavirus “treatment”, spruiked by members of the anti-vaccine and anti-lockdown movements.

3. The US Public Health Dept needs some kind of remedy also---to be put into place for the

"common good"/health of the nation during pandemics such as we are experiencing!!

These anti-vaxxers are dangerous--including RW radio, media etc. Biden finally said it yesterday and put in place some mandates for Fed workers- through an executive order. It is a good start. We need something more that could kick in during deadly pandemics.

It has to be good at a National level or the sake our health. I do not think this is a pipe dream [even given our free speech laws]. Some one in charge has to start it. Maybe the DOJ?? I do not think it should be at the President level.

BIG ONES, that require a large dose of ivermectin every month.

I just gave my 2 doggies their monthly dose this morning. I don't need any myself.
