Former president Donald Trump was in New York City on Saturday to mark 20 years since the 9/11 attacks.

He didn’t attend any remembrance ceremonies, but he did stop by the 17th police precinct in Midtown and a neighboring fire station.

He took pictures, answered questions and thanked them for their bravery that day.

He would want to visit the police. Several participants in the January 6 coup attempt were either former or current police officers. I know that President Biden has a lot on his plate right now. But I hope that he can push his call for police reform to the forefront. And we need to find a way to root out rogue police officers who participate in riots.
