All from US missionary group freed in Haiti, police say

Source: Associated Press

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) — The remaining members of a missionary group who were kidnapped two months ago have been freed, Haiti police and the group said Thursday.

The spokesman for Haiti’s National Police, Gary Desrosiers, confirmed to The Associated Press that the remaining hostages had been released, but did not immediately provide additional details.

“We glorify God for answered prayer — the remaining 12 hostages are FREE!” Christian Aid Ministries said in a statement. “Join us in praising God that all 17 of our loved ones are now safe.”

The Ohio group said it hopes to provide more information later.

did they stop to think this could happen in the first place, and what god would say to them for foolishly ignoring warnings and news reports?

This was known to be occurring. My wife works with multiple groups in haiti and they all stopped bringing any foreigners in because they knew this would happen. It's not even safe for haitians, but groups of white people stand out like free money.

Fools rush in.....

Jennifer Granholm became the first female governor of Michigan on January 1, 2003, when she succeeded Engler; she served for 8 years, until January 1, 2011.

And understanding the risks?

Do you believe that stuff like this only happens in Haiti?

Do you believe that Women who run for public office don't understand the risks?

9. Unrelated jurisdictions, unrelated crimes, unrelated motives, unrelated participants, unrelated

... unrelated modus operandi. In any case, the Michigan crime was unrelated to Whitmer's sex. And the Haiti crime was not about the sex of the victims either.

Unrelated period.

Earthquakes happen in the USA too. Going to write about them here too?

We are well aware of that plot and court case here.

Still no connection made by you. You could have posted about kidnappings in Nigeria and it would be equally unrelated.

Perhaps you should stop.

"But did they glorify god for taking the hostages in the first place?"

I'll leave you with an old cumbia that addresses situations such as these with more poise, grace, and understanding than either you or I can manage.

Have a nice day.
