Suspect in Deadly Wilton Manors Hit-and-Run Crash Has Outburst in Court

Source: NBC Miami

A judge decided Wednesday that the suspect in a hit-and-run crash in Wilton Manors that killed two children and hospitalized four more will be held in jail without bond.

After his charges were read to him in bond court, Sean Charles Greer was seen on video briefly objecting to the order, scuffling with a deputy and knocking over a podium.

The 27-year-old is accused of running over six children, killing 6-year-old Andrea Fleming and 5-year-old Kylie Jones. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that physical evidence led detectives to Greer, who was jailed Tuesday evening.

Greer faces 14 charges, including two counts of leaving the scene of an accident involving death, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident involving serious bodily injury, tampering with evidence, four counts of driving without a license causing death and/or serious bodily injuries and driving with a suspended license.

Greer has been arrested twice in the past for driving without a valid license. He is also currently on probation for burglary.

He was objecting to his presence, after he'd been told before the hearing he would be held without bond. I browsed around a bit and learned the children had been waiting to cross the street. His front bumper detached and was found at the scene. What an evil man.

He’s a little mad he may be locked up and lose some freedumbs. The children he slaughtered and mutilated lost a few freedoms, and I am certain those parent are a bit pissed of and ready to toss some podiums. I bet prisoners hate children being killed by hit and run as much as they hate child molesters. He may find some more reason to toss podiums behind bars. Life!!!!!, fuck him. If it were my child he killed and got released………….there would be no liberal response. It is past time this country started issuing consequences equal to the crimes. Or destroy all the lady justice statues. They are a joke. Those balance scales she holds should show cash on a weighted down side of the scales. I hope this fool at least gets a consequence equivalent to his murder.
