Ghislaine Maxwell found guilty in sex-trafficking trial

British former socialite Ghislaine Maxwell has been found guilty in her Manhattan federal court trial.

Maxwell, 60, was arrested in July 2020, charged with involvement in ex-boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of teenage girls, some as young as 14.

Epstein, a convicted sex offender and presumed billionaire, counted Prince Andrew and former presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump as cronies before killing himself in a New York jail in 2019, about one month after his sex-trafficking arrest.

The verdict marks a dramatic conclusion to an unexpectedly fast-moving trial: proceedings were originally expected to take at least six weeks. Prosecutors called 24 witnesses over 10 days, and defense attorneys called nine witnesses over two days.

What was she found guilty of?
Maxwell has been found guilty on five of six counts - including the most serious charge, that of sex trafficking of a minor.

This carries a possible 40-year sentence, which means the 60-year-old could spend the rest of her life behind bars.

This charge relates to the testimony of Carolyn, who testified about being paid for sex during visits to Epstein's Florida home between 2001 and 2004.

At the time of her first visit, she was just 14.

She wanted Epstein to marry her so much, she would do ANYTHING for him. While she may technically be worth $20 Million, her father was $4 BILLION in debt when he died. All she has is a trust fund that pays her $100K per year. That's not nearly enough for someone like her to live on.

We do know that Bill Barr visited Epstein in jail more than a few times, but I don't believe Barr had any involvement with Maxwell. If there ever was any Kompromat on Chump, it's a sure thing that Jeffrey Epstein had it. But who knows whether it will ever see the light of day?

Her lawyers reach out in hopes of a deal where she will name names, provide evidence and testify in return for some sort of reduction in sentence.

Prosecution agrees and she suddenly decides to commit suicide just like Epstein did; at the hands of someone else.

One way or the other she's toast. And #TFG and Dersh breath a sign of relief.....probably Billy Barr too.
