(70,585 posts)Fuck TMZ .... that should be private information ONLY FOR her doctors, family, and or close friends
I hope that the stroke was strong enough that she did not suffer for those last few days.

(34,857 posts)Don't pin this on TMZ. Pin it on the California government, as they maintain a permanent, public record of every death that has occurred in California. Even you could look it up if you felt so inclined.

(24,327 posts)a matter of public record. They really don't contain much info except cause of death and where it happened.

(9,350 posts)Are death certificates public in all states? How do you get access to them?
Mr.Bill
(24,327 posts)I know they are public record in California. I would imagine the Coroner's office would be the place to go for a copy. In my county the Sheriff and the Coroner are the same person. Actual medical determinations are contracted out, but technically any Sheriff's Deputy is empowered to pronounce someone dead.

(273 posts)Had she been to a doctor or called 911 6 days before she died? Or were they able to determine this post-mortem?

(34,857 posts)...and that there wasn't much more they could do at her advanced age so she was likely in a very poor state during those final six days.
Just a guess since they are clear it was six days.
