INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) The Latest on the Super Bowl:
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has been named the Super Bowls Most Valuable Player.
Kupp had eight receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns. He had a 1-yard reception from Matthew Stafford with 1:25 remaining to give the Rams a 23-20 lead that gave them to their second Vince Lombardi Trophy. Kupp had four catches for 39 yards on the final drive along with a 7-yard run on fourth-and-1 to keep the drive alive.
Kupp set a postseason record for receptions with 33.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) The Latest on the Super Bowl:
Cooper Kupp caught a 1-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford with 1:25 remaining and the Rams beat the Bengals 23-20 to win the Super Bowl on Sunday night.
Kupp had four receptions for 39 yards on that drive, including the last three. He also had a key 7-yard run off right end on fourth-and-1 from the LA 30-yard line.
Stafford completed 7 of 11 for 57 yards on the 15-play, 79-yard series.

Love the Lions, too. Because my dad was from Michigan, so I grew up with him cheering for Michigan teams (without my mom hearing)

(1,184 posts)I used to ref soccer, though, and I'm pretty forgiving of calls that referees make. They are humans, and the action happens very quick. And we can go round and round on calls made and not made throughout the game (such as the uncalled offensive pass interference/facemask on the Bengals touchdown).
But I cringed after that holding call. Suddenly the game felt like it had a very lame conclusion, and the Rams victory felt hollow.
