CDC's airline mask mandate challenged in court by Texas AG Ken Paxton and Rep. Beth Van Duyne

Source: Dallas Morning News

WASHINGTON – Airline passengers have been required to wear masks for just over a year.

On Wednesday, the state of Texas and the congresswoman whose district includes Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport asked a federal court to strike down the mandate, arguing that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lacks authority and that its rule isn’t backed by science.

“Every time she travels, she is subject to an unlawful regulation that burdens her liberty interest by taking away her choice to not wear a mask over her face,” Rep. Beth Van Duyne, R-Irving, asserts in her request for the court to freeze the mandate immediately.

Van Duyne told the court she makes at least 40 round trip flights per year in and out of D/FW, and “currently has multiple round-trip flights booked in the upcoming weeks and would not wear a mask at the airport or on the plane if it was not required.”

The flight is paid for but my life is worth more than the cost of the ticket.

It's also a science fact that airplanes are a small enclosed space.
It is also a science fact that having a group of people in small confined area increases the chance of a virus being passed on to someone else.
It is another science fact that a mask can help reduce the chance becoming infected with the virus.
So what can we conclude with all these science facts? Maybe that Paxton and Van Duyn are fucking morons?

They can fly any way they want....HOWEVER, in order to BREATHE and EXHALE in the passenger areas, they either wear a mask or hold their breath...once they violate that choice by either passing out or exhaling into the cabin, they can be moved to the cargo hold and wrapped in packing blankets until arrival.

Otherwise....wear the fucking mask or don't fly.

We are should literally make them hold their breath and stomp their fucking feet.

If the airlines aren’t going to have mask mandates...I won’t be flying either. I think they better rethink that, it’s going to be hard on their business. A lot of ppl will chose not to fly.

The Right needed something else to be pissed about and they chose masks and vaccines. They think they're "owning the Libs".
