Source: Reuters

Feb 26 (Reuters) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Saturday Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi had supported Russia's disconnection from the global SWIFT payment system in a phone conversation with him.

"This is the beginning of a new page in the history of our states," Zelenskiy wrote on his Twitter.

Hungary said it would support all EU sanctions.

Speaking during a visit to the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, the prime minister, Viktor Orbán, said: “Hungary made clear that we support all the sanctions, so we will block nothing, so what the prime ministers of the European Union are able to agree, we accept it and we support it.” He added: “This is the time to be united, it’s a war.”

Orban has been close to Russia - but it looks like he's decided he can't side with Putin over this.
