Russia pummels Ukraine's No. 2 city and convoy nears Kyiv

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russian shelling pounded civilian targets in Ukraine’s second-largest city again Tuesday and a 40-mile convoy of tanks and other vehicles threatened the capital — tactics Ukraine’s embattled president said were designed to force him into concessions in Europe’s largest ground war in generations.

With the Kremlin increasingly isolated by tough economic sanctions that have tanked the ruble currency, Russian troops attempted to advance on Ukraine’s two biggest cities. In strategic Kharkiv, an eastern city with a population of about 1.5 million, videos posted online showed explosions hitting the region’s Soviet-era administrative building and residential areas.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the attack on Kharkiv’s main square “frank, undisguised terror,” blaming a Russian missile and calling it a war crime. “Nobody will forgive. Nobody will forget. ... This is state terrorism of the Russian Federation.”

Throughout Ukraine, many civilians spent another night huddled in shelters, basements or corridors.

We also have done nothing in regard to election
tampering, starting in Florida 2000 and continuing
to this day.

to expedite getting arms into Ukraine. It would be nice to replace those Molotov cocktails with Javelin missiles, people need trained how to use them.

Putin is going to level Ukraine's 2 major cities if Ukraine doesn't surrender, and I don't expect them to surrender.

Oh how they could use a few dozen A-10 aircraft. They could turn the convoy into a 40 mile graveyard

as Rommel found out.

And it would get cold, real fast, sitting in those tanks without heaters (if they even have heaters in them in the first place).

It's time for the Russians to worry about what WE will do.

The Russians are playing the fear card. We are falling for it.

along with their other armaments would come in very handy right now for Ukraine.
Truth be known, military leaders are probably working on a way to accomplish this.

It's become rather obvious that this was more than a 'State Administrative Office'.

Why would the Russians launch a military strike against an empty administrative office building?

Why would Zelenskyy call the strike a "war crime"? How would blowing up an empty office building be a war crime????

By their actions and/or words, both sides are indirectly admitting that the building was a whole lot more than a 'State Administrative Office'.

We may never discover what.
