Russia planning 'terrorist attack' on Chernobyl nuclear power plant, Ukraine intelligence claims

Source: i

By Claire Gilbody-Dickerson

Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing a “terrorist attack” on the Chernobyl nuclear power station, according to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence.

Officials said Russia is plotting a “man-made catastrophe” at the power station and then shift the blame on Ukraine in a supposed false flag operation to disguise its actions.

The defence ministry claimed Russia will “create fake evidence” to confirm their version of events, suggesting Russian troops could collect dead bodies from Antonov airport in the town of Hostomel near capital Kyiv – also known as Gostomel – and plant the bodies at the nuclear site.

The ministry did not provide any evidence to back the allegation.

Where are Putler's daughters in all of this? Such a Pandora's Box act will effect them as well. Have they no opinions on their father's actions? Heck, even W's daughters sometimes differed from W.

The SS destroyed their own radio station on the Polish frontier, planted bodies of killed Polish civilians in German Uniforms and used it as a pretext for invasion of Poland.

Putin is using Adolph's playbook to the letter.

It DOES remind the world of the INTERNATIONAL catastrophe that would be unleashed if this nuclear plant were to be destroyed.
I had read somewhere on this site that the nuclear plant in Ukraine is the biggest in Europe. My guess is, it would make the accident at Chernobyl look like a fender-bender.

He was a Russian specialist and essentially said that Putin will not back down. His analysis was that Putin’s army is much weaker than NATO and the US estimated and that the logistics of getting the army organized are inefficient. He also said that Putin is known for allowing the army free rein to commit atrocities and that eventually the weight of public opinion will shift so far against Russia that Western leaders will be forced to act. He seemed to believe that war is inevitable and NATO should step up now.

He was also in favor of giving the planes in Poland directly to Ukraine, saying that they are essentially the same as the Stingers and other materiel we have provided and would escalate the war ho more than all the other stuff we’re sending to Ukraine. I wish he had been asked about the best way to take out Russia’s anti-aircraft batteries. That’s the big thing the US needs to coach Ukraine on doing after giving them the equipment. That would elevate Ukrainian spirits and make an enormous difference in the war.
