Israel will not be route to bypass sanctions imposed on Russia -foreign minister

Source: reuters.com

Israel will not be a route to bypass sanctions imposed on Russia by the United States and other western countries, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid said on Monday during a visit to Slovakia.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating the issue together with partners including the Bank of Israel, the Finance Ministry, the Economy Ministry, the Airports Authority, the Energy Ministry, and others," he said after meeting Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korcok.

3. Why did Israel not impound Abramovich's jet if they're complying with sanctions?

And now that they are complying with sanctions and the assumption is that they will be barred from the air space over Syria, they should revisit their decision to refuse selling their Iron Dome missile defense system (or better yet, giving) to Ukraine since the reason they gave was losing access to air space over Syria. That system would help Ukraine a lot.

7. Amazing how some seem to want to paint a negative picture of this despite the facts. The same thing

was done a few days ago when a so-called “anonymous” source said the Israeli PM told Zelensky to accept Putin’s terms. Israel and the prime minister vehemently denied such an exchange, and explained why that wasn’t even plausible

It appears to me as a conditioned reflex to some whenever Israel comes into the conversation

I was trying to use that search on Twitter for up-to-date news, but the trolls made it almost useless -- not to mention infuriating.

Israel will be impounded? Does it mean that wealthy Russians under sanction elsewhere will be held prior to deportation proceedings?

Just asking for a friend...
