North Carolina Is Investigating Mark Meadows For Criminal Voter Fraud
Source: politicususa.com
... Meadows and his wife were caught listing an address in North Carolina as their voting address in 2020, even though Trumps White House Chief of Staff had never visited that property.
Republicans have spent two years consistently accusing minorities and Democrats of voter fraud, but time and again case after case of voter fraud and election fraud continues to involve Republicans. ...
If Meadows committed criminal voter fraud, he would be the most prominent Republican convicted of such a crime and the poster child for the GOP plot to steal elections.

(61,539 posts)Apparently his wife rented it for a week or so the year before they listed it as their home for voter registration.
Imagine listing a place you rented from VRBO once as your permanent voter registration home!
They had the mail forwarded to a PO Box in a nearby town. This was very deliberate and carefully planned.

You must live in the county where you are registering, and have resided there for at least 30 days prior to the date of the election.
Curiously residency as determined by the NCDMV reads as follows:
The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles recognizes the documents below as proof of North Carolina residency.
Any document issued by the state of North Carolina or a county or city in North Carolina or the federal government.
North Carolina Vehicle Registration Card, insurance policy or title.
North Carolina Voter Precinct Card.
Military orders or military documents.
Utility bill or cable bill.
Housing lease or contract, mortgage statement, property or income tax statement.
Preprinted financial statement.
School records.
Letter from homeless shelter.
In addition according to the Raleigh Observer newspaper:
Nazneen Ahmed, spokeswoman for Attorney General Josh Steins office, confirmed the investigation into former President Donald Trumps Chief of Staff Mark Meadows after the New Yorker first reported that the former congressman, who represented North Carolinas westernmost district, registered to vote in September 2020 using an address he had never visited.

I remember Doonesbury had a coupon in his comic that citizens from all over the country could send in, declaring they were a resident of Texas, using the same reasoning that HWBush did. Texas government received like half a million envelopes over the next few days with the coupon filled out and enclosed.....it was hysterical.......
HWBush got his Texas residency approved, the half million others didn't..........

(5,268 posts)Didn't see that detail in this article (but did read that in another news article) but seems important to establish fraud as he was required to list his residence for the time period prior to his voter application. So seems she was deliberately covering for his fraudulent residency claim by renting only for period of time between his voter form being completed and the Nov election.
