Hillary Clinton has tested positive for COVID-19, she tweeted Tuesday. The 74-year-old former secretary of state said that she is experiencing "some mild cold symptoms" but said she is "feeling fine."
"I'm more grateful than ever for the protection vaccines can provide against serious illness," Clinton added. "Please get vaccinated and boosted if you haven't already!"
Clinton said that her husband, former President Bill Clinton, 75, has tested negative, adding that he will quarantine "until our household is fully in the clear."....................

Mr. Biden tested negative on Tuesday, Psaki said. This is the press secretary's second bout with COVID-19, having announced a positive test back in October 2021....................

(6,265 posts)my mask every day, everywhere outside in public. Definitely in any store. The people who are purposely spreading this disease are pathetic human beings. NO excuse will ever justify their anti-everything attitude toward other human beings.

(30,244 posts)Tomorrow it's the anniversary of a dear friend's death due to COVID. She was about Hillary's age and was a second mother to me. She was healthy, but COVID took her within five days. She lived in PA and was on the waiting list for the vaccine. If she had gotten sick now she probably would have survived.
Best wishes to Hillary for a speedy recovery.

(10,499 posts)COVID has taken too many people. Everyone should get vaccinated and boosted.
It is good to see you here again, Bea.

(30,244 posts)It's nice to see you around too. Thanks for the condolences. I've been thinking about my friend all day. I still miss her. One thing that this pandemic has taught us is not to sweat the small stuff. There're so many monumental things happening, that little annoyances are not so important anymore.
Take care!!!

(2,891 posts)said from the beginning, if that was the full explanation... instead of having his staff tweet out a photo of him from an earlier event, making it seem current. (That wasn't remotely suspicious.)
I think now they are all just going on with their lives (unless they get symptoms that slow them down or kill them), even if they test positive...like Sarah Palin, who declined to isolate, but went out to dinner instead. Of course, mainly they aren't testing anyway, but if they do test positive, they don't feel the need to inform anyone.
