Donald Trump sues Hillary Clinton, others over Russian collusion allegations

Source: Reuters/Jan Wolfe & Jonathan Stempel

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Donald Trump on Thursday sued Hillary Clinton and several other Democrats, alleging they tried to rig the 2016 U.S. presidential election by tying his campaign to Russia.

"Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty," the former president alleged in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Florida.

Trump, who beat Democratic nominee Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, alleges "racketeering" and a "conspiracy to commit injurious falsehood," among other claims.

Trump's allegations in the lawsuit are undermined by a 966-page report issued by a Republican-led U.S. Senate committee in August 2020. That report concluded that Russia used Republican political operative Paul Manafort and the WikiLeaks website to try to help Trump win the 2016 election.

In the run-up to the 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton and her cohorts
orchestrated an unthinkable plot – one that shocks the conscience and is an affront to this nation’s
democracy. Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative
that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty.
The actions taken in furtherance of their scheme—falsifying evidence, deceiving law enforcement,
and exploiting access to highly-sensitive data sources - are so outrageous, subversive and
incendiary that even the events of Watergate pale in comparison
.

I am beginning to believe that he truly believes the shit he is smoking/saying. He obviously doesn't realize that this allows Clinton, et al, as part of their defense of this POS (assuming it is not dismissed early) to do incredibly thorough and extensive discovery. Jesus fucking christ, the man and whatever legal "genius" has signed on to this are so incredibly stupid -- after denying for years that there was any collusion/cooperation and fighting giving anyone access to documents, etc., he is now essentially agreeing to open all that up for Hillary. Buy moar popcorn.

I just pulled up the complaint -- signed by his new idiot counsel, Alina Habba, using The Ticktin Law Group as local Florida counsel. One of the defendants is Perkins Coie, LLC, a major very competent law firm, and Marc Elias, the attorney who kicked Trump's ass in many of the post-election lawsuits. They are going to destroy Trump and his lawyers -- this will be very entertaining to watch.

"Looking forward to discovery!", and not realizing that discovery works both ways...and the campaign will have to provide a LOT of the evidence negating his charges.

tRump knows this, too, and there is no way in hell that he'll sit for a deposition under oath. I think that this is purely a show lawsuit, filed for the praise from his base of Qidiots, as they know it will either be tossed out well before any substantive action or they will drop it as soon as the attempt is made to depose them.

1. The Defendants collectively pray for this suit to be dismissed with prejudice on the following grounds:

a. No harm was suffered by the Plaintiff due to actions alleged in the Plaintiff's filing. The Defense notes that the Plaintiff actually won the 2016 election.
b. The Plaintiff filed his suit after the statute of limitations had expired.
c. A Senate Committee led by members of the Plaintiff's own political party issued a 966-page report after the election that proved the Defendants' assertion Plaintiff was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty to be entirely accurate.
d. The Defendants note that the Court has more important things to do than to entertain any more of Defendants' temper tantrums.

2. The Defendants hereby file countersuit alleging that lead defendant HILLARY CLINTON suffered irreparable harm through respondent DONALD TRUMP's actions. We seek the following relief.

a. Countersuit defendant DONALD TRUMP is to pay countersuit lead plaintiff HILLARY CLINTON, from personal funds, the sum of One Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,600,000) as compensation for lost wages. Plaintiff CLINTON led Defendant TRUMP in all polls taken before TRUMP's actions commenced. The requested relief equals 48 months of Presidential pay.
b. Defendant TRUMP will agree to appear on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC not later than seven days after he loses this countersuit. He will concede the 2020 election on each of those appearances.
b1. Defendant TRUMP will agree to wear a properly fitting suit, a tie the correct length, and makeup that is not orange in all these appearances.
c. Defendant TRUMP will agree to not appear on Fox News, One America News Network or Newsmax TV for the rest of his natural life.
d. Defendant TRUMP will agree to never run for public office or participate in electoral politics in any capacity ever again. He will cease all fundraising activities.
e. In the event of default of any provision of this paragraph, Defendant TRUMP agrees to be boiled in used motor oil for a period of eight hours. Defendant TRUMP agrees to purchase 200 gallons of used motor oil to be used in this procedure with personal funds.
