Herschel Walker, Dr. Oz removed from Biden's sports council

Source: Associated Press

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — The White House has removed Dr. Mehmet Oz — best known as daytime TV’s host of “The Dr. Oz Show” — and former football star Herschel Walker from the President’s Council on Sports, Nutrition and Fitness as both men run for U.S. Senate.

Oz and Walker — both are Republicans — were appointed by President Joe Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump, and Oz quickly went to social media to claim that he was being removed for political reasons.

“It’s beyond sad that Joe Biden would politicize such an important issue like health,” Oz said in a video he posted to Twitter.

The White House on Wednesday posted two new appointments to the council, while a White House official said Oz and Walker were asked to resign because the White House doesn’t permit candidates for federal office to serve on boards.

in 2018. I lost a lot of points, and missed it dearly. So, I don't care if some mealy-mouthed pseudo doc or athlete without a brain gets canned (after having been offered a chance to resign) because there is a rule that they don't want to follow.

Don't they know that everything touched by Trump DIES? Something as simple as a fitness program was killed. These guys will spend a lot of money trying to get elected, and will watch their wallets die. So be it.

Eff Trump and all that follow him.

a few years ago. They used to show it a few times a month. Bottom line is that he is a mental case. He supports Trump because he gave Herschel a million dollars to leave college early. Back then Trump didn't think the rules applied to him.

I wish that TV show could be brought back. Walker hasn't lived in Georgia for about 30 years. Look for him to avoid a debate with Warnock.
