Supreme Court silent on Justice Clarence Thomas hospitalization
Source: CNBC
The Supreme Court did not respond when asked for information about the health of 73-year-old Justice Clarence Thomas.
Thomas was hospitalized with an infection nearly a week earlier.
It was unclear whether Thomas was still recovering in Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he had been admitted on Friday after experiencing flulike symptoms.

Thomas was admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. Friday night, where he was being treated for an infection, the court said in a statement released Sunday.
The statement also said Thomas symptoms are abating after antibiotics and he expected to be released from the hospital in a day or two.
But the court hasnt provided an update since Sunday and didnt respond to multiple messages seeking comment Thursday.
The most recent update came from Thomas colleague on the bench, Justice Stephen Breyer, who was questioned outside a restaurant in D.C. on Wednesday by TMZ.
I think hes fine, Breyer said of Thomas.

(24,468 posts)He is one of 9 SC justices....the health of each is pretty important. RBG had no problem keeping people informed on her health....why can't Clarence? Ginnie managing his PR?
About time for an official statement from the Chief Justice, I think.

I wonder, if he dies, they plan on hiding his corpse and have QANON vote behind the scenes on his behalf, until they steal another presidency. GQP will find a way to not allow Biden another pick.
We need to stomp the GQP out like a Florida cock roach and take back democracy.

(10,166 posts)If he's fine there would be all sorts of updates saying he's fine. I wonder if he had type 2 diabetes or high blood pressure. Both are very common for his age.
It sounds like he got a secondary infection from COVID because he probably didn't take care of himself because he's a COVID denier. But secondary infections from COVID are much more serious then secondary infection from a flu or something.

Then again, there are plenty of things the American public doesnt know about that would anger us enough to take to the streets. Where we are met with tear gas and rubber bullets.

There's so much some of us at DU would like to know ... about money, about how a POC votes with Republicans forever, if he and Sam have a silence pact. Of all the people in public life, Clarence makes just about the least sense to me of anyone!
