Former President Donald Trump continues to be praised on Russian state television almost as much as he's regaled on Fox News, with state media now calling for regime change in the United States.

Daily Beast columnist Julia Davis has been monitoring Russian state TV to report on how the invasion is being portrayed by the Kremlin.

She also reported that a Russian TV host was calling for regime change in America to return Donald Trump to power, even though Kamala Harris is next in line, followed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and then Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT).

"It is time for us, for our people, to call on the people of the United States to change the regime in the U.S. early," Russian TV host Evgeny Popov said.

"And to again help our partner Trump to become president," he said.

13. Born in the mid-50s, grew up in the 60s & 70s and...

so on and so forth with USSR, then Gorbachev up until this day. Never in my wildest imaginings would have I expected Republicans to ever trust the Russians as far as they could throw them about anything beyond the diplomatically polite exchanges since the Gorbachev era. They were always the most hardcore about relations with the USSR/Russia.

But now, with another strongman totalitarian in Putin? It's like the bad old USSR days in all but name only. And all of a sudden, these fools are all in. When, what and where did this change occur? Was it fanciful thinking for them to be able to impose the same type of rule over our country? Is it the corruption of Russian money that's been propping them up? Or just good old fashioned Compromat? They sold their souls for support and now can't back out due to the threat of exposure? Certainly there is something really weird and off in all this. The old adage of "if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it must be a duck" applies. This lust for absolute power is all very menacing and evil for the future of this country. (And don't forget they thought, and said out loud, that they had that total control thing locked in back in in 2000-01 when Shrub was installed via the SC.)

I find it all very mind boggling. One hopes that somewhere some really good JD lawyer or investigative reporter can find the link - be it via the NRA money going to campaigns, the scheming of TFG finally catching up to him, financial links to Russian oligarchs or whatever - before its too late. I don't know about anyone else, but I can just feel the incongruity/malevolence of the right in the current political climate in my bones, and have had this gnawing dread lurking and festering in the back of my mind since the last election. (I don't know how else to explain it.)

and the KGB since the '80s. They liked that he was a full-of-his own self importance fool who could easily be flattered and manipulated. And since trump was the republican party's candidate who became president, and was openly racist, the party members felt it was ok now to be openly racist.

And Russia being an all white country that trump likea, they gravitated to favoring Putin and Russia because of their white supremacy leanings.

It's not a good thing now as Putin is seen as a monster who invades countries, bombs cities to rubble and targets civilians with bombs and artillery shells.

So, this sudden love of Slavs by white supremacists and Nazis is very suspicious. It sounds to me like Hitler's deal with Stalin. Soon they will be attacking the Russians too.

27. They are working to trigger violent groups like our local militia types. Based on what I've heard

in person the militia (for lack of a group name) are looking for the action that will initiate the grand finale race war. Heard it among several folk while we were waiting for a local estate auction to open. These were relatively ordinary locals whom I have seen around town and at other sales. They are very intense when talking about the
"event" and repeatedly spoke of "being prepared". There's a Jim Jones moment approaching as far as they are concerned.

The weird thing is when we talk about some item at the sales or other mundane issues like the weather or fishing season they all sound and act quite normal and engaged in those topics. I have never talked politics or current events like Ukraine with any of them. Their programming has been set for that trigger. The Russians along with TFG are working on setting them off.

To be clear, I didn't look for them nor had any idea I was that close to them personally. They don't have huge flags on their trucks, or wear guns or camo in public. You'd run into many of them at a local school track meet or basketball game.

The translation of "partner" might not be the same in Russian, where it is used very neutral just meaning
"associate", "adversary", "counterpart" ...
In many ways replacing "comrade", which also is neutral.
