Biden Detailee Entangled in Secret Service Bribery Scheme

More details are emerging about the four Secret Service employees entangled in an alleged bribery scheme carried out by two men accused of masquerading as Department of Homeland Security law enforcement agents.

An affidavit filed Wednesday night in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. revealed that one of the Secret Service agents involved in the bribery scheme was a special agent assigned to First Lady Jill Biden’s protective detail. Another was a Uniformed Division officer at the White House.

RealClearPolitics has learned that another Secret Service special agent involved in the alleged bribery is assigned to President Biden’s detail, those agents who accompany the president nearly everywhere he goes and stand by his side during the most sensitive of discussions and private moments. A second Uniformed Division officer caught up in the bizarre scheme was assigned to protect Vice President Harris’s residence, according to sources familiar with the matter.

All four have been placed on administrative leave while an investigation takes place. RCP is not releasing their names because of privacy concerns. Usually, the Inspection Division and the Office of Professional Responsibility handle investigations into possible employee misconduct. U.S. Secret Service leaders decided that the bizarre and serious nature of the allegations requires a more specialized approach.

Who knows what the actual motive of those two guys who bribed the secret service agents was ? Were they trying to get close to the Bidens for nefarious purpose ?

The motivation sure looks like a planned sabotage, possible assassination, or maybe part of an overthrow plot after taking hostages, considering the zip ties found in the suspects' apartment.

This is pretty damned serious.

The intent will be known when the investigation reveals where their money came from. I can think of a few suspect individuals or organizations, but it is just speculation right now, so there's no point in naming them. But one thing seems to be clear. Any person or group going to these lengths to gain inside allies in the president's security team will not stop just because they were caught this time. There will be other attempts.

I did a search on Google.

There is a Gallup pole that spoke with military members and only 29% or so are Democratic or consider themselves liberal or liberal leaning.

A search for a similar Gallop poll for cops was of little value. So I looked at police giving political contributions and I found this: "In 2016, there were about 7,000 contributions from police. In 2020, there were more than 46,000, totaling more than $2.75 million."

And the hugest majority I've ever seen went to GOPers. That was in WaPo.

So, it seems Cozmo and Evolve are pretty accurate on their assessment of political affiliations of the police and military . Law enforcement are for the most part GOPers.

saying how the security agents have a closed chat room and that once Trump came into power and since those chat rooms have been full of hate speech and White Nationalist propaganda. Can’t even be certain whose intelligence it is at work if this is indeed an intelligence story:

– one person arrested has a Persian (Iranian?) name;
– the other person arrested has an Arabic name;
– a third person mentioned during the course of reporting has a Russian/Belarusian name and their gender hasn’t been clarified;
– the person with a Persian name is linked to a mess of corporations, some located in the Midwest, linked to yet more persons who may/may not be related to this unfolding case;
– there’s a lot money involved though it’s an open question whose money it is;
– there are expense professional office spaces involved;
– the suborning or bribery of Secret Service personnel is really, REALLY problematic;
– the amount of detail generated to create this operation/program suggests even more money involved.

Note the Midwest corporations...Trumpers or perhaps Trump-affiliated corporations?

really were. I personally believe the SS agents were involved in the scheme because I just don't believe if they were not, they wouldn't have told someone ...checked it out. This could very well be an assassination plot...the Potus, Flotus SS personnel takes out Biden, The VP SS person takes out Harris and the guard could take out Speaker Pelosi...or perhaps one of the others would assassinate her at the White House.
