Pro-Trump Rally Planner Is Cooperating in Justice Dept.'s Jan. 6 Inquiry

Ali Alexander, a prominent organizer of pro-Trump events after the 2020 election, has agreed to cooperate with the Justice Department’s investigation of the attack on the Capitol last year, the first high-profile political figure known to have offered assistance to the government’s newly expanded criminal inquiry.

Speaking through a lawyer, Mr. Alexander said on Friday that he had recently received a subpoena from a federal grand jury that is seeking information on several broad categories of people connected to pro-Trump rallies that took place in Washington after the election.

In a statement from the lawyer, Mr. Alexander said he was taking “a cooperative posture” with the Justice Department’s investigation but did not know what useful information he could give. He also disavowed anyone who took part in or planned violence on Jan. 6.

While it remains unclear what Mr. Alexander might tell the grand jury, he was intimately involved in the sprawling effort to mount political protests challenging the results of the election, and had contacts with other organizers, extremist groups, members of Congress and, according to the House committee investigating Jan. 6, White House officials during the period after Election Day.

4/ Witness what Ali Alexander says even in this breaking news story, claiming that he has no earthly idea what information he could possibly give to Congress. Let me be clear: perhaps no person living in America has more to offer Congress than Ali Alexander does. And he knows it.
5/ Any Congressional investigator who goes into an interview with Ali Alexander, and/or any federal prosecutor who goes into a grand jury with Ali Alexander, and hasn’t made themselves into a *literal expert* on all things Ali Alexander, will screw everything up...and colossally.
6/ This is a man who recorded and published a video just a few days before the attack on the Capitol in which he advocated the *fire-bombing of a D.C. hotel* because the hotel had canceled his reservation.

You cannot possibly understand how dangerous this man is and wants to be.
7/ I intend no disrespect to any federal official in saying I seriously doubt whether anyone in the government is currently capable of handling/dealing with Alexander as a congressional witness or a witness in a criminal investigation. There’s just too much one has to understand.
8/ When I write about Alexander at PROOF, my approach—based on hours and hours of following his career and writings and recordings—is to treat him as America’s most dangerous domestic terrorist. So if you’re a journalist and not thinking of him that way, you’ve missed your story.

7. A grand jury isn't a platform to spread propaganda,

grand juries are not allowed to reveal the testimony they hear. I have a been a big critic of DOJ but this is finally some action and lying to a grand jury is a BFD, a felony.

If Trump and his inner circle are not held accountable believe me the voters will testify back by not showing up to vote.
