Florida Republicans accepted donations from ex-congressman who sent lewd messages to underage boys
Source: Business Insider
But some Florida Republicans are meanwhile accepting financial contributions from the old campaign committee of an ex-congressman who sent sexually explicit messages to underage boys working as congressional pages.
Former Republican Rep. Mark Foley, who resigned his West Palm Beach district seat over the 2006 messaging scandal, has made $118,250 in donations and sponsorship to the Republican Party of Palm Beach County since 2010 through his ex-campaign committee Friends of Mark Foley for Congress.
Foley's most recent donation to the Republican Party of Palm Beach County came in January, when his campaign committee gave $15,000, according to an Insider analysis of filings from the Federal Elections Commission.

All the vile crimes the extremists are extracting laws to combat are the very crimes their own people are committing. Voter fraud. Pedophiles. Sex and gender issues and crimes. Treason.

(6,974 posts)Call them out on their hypocrisy and lies.
Green continues to call Dems pedophiles, yet she ran around the country with Matt Gaetz. Boebert had the nerve to ask Xavier Becerra if he knew what a woman was, when her husband is a registered sex-offender who she was IN the bowling alley with when he showed his filthy junk to an under-aged teen, and she defended him and supported him in court. Such filthy, vile, projecting hypocrites that lot is. WHY don't Dems take a cue from the Sen. Schatz who went after fist-pumping, loud-mouthed, tReasonous, racist, Nazi Hawley?
Thank God Schatz has that Seat in Hawaii, because we know Tulsi traitor Gabbard would be DEFENDING Hawley with her Russian asset behind.

(63,215 posts)It's their go-to accusation, because of course the accusation is enough to tarnish the accused, even with no evidence.
Yet here they are, once again leaping into bed with yet another deviant of their own. Who'd'a thunk it?
As always, if a Republikkkan makes an accusation, they're actually making a confession.

(5,129 posts)Take it from someone who almost lost his job and everything else over it. (The accuser then moved to the Dominican Republic... a known trafficking area... wonder why?) That accusation is all anyone has to do. Especially if you are a male. Double especially if you are a single male (in their eyes, since most people still do not automatically accept same sex marriages). Infinity especially if you are all of the above and work at a school. There is no way to avoid the damage. I had the entire faculty and administration behind me, no one else ever made that accusation and the guy was proven to be a slimy weasel. The state even got involved (because he went to them personally to try and get me in trouble). There was nothing more than someone trying to ruin someone else. Yet because it was THAT accusation... there are still repercussions TEN YEARS after that asshole tried to destroy me.
The accusation is all anyone has to do. The media-driven public insanity does the rest. And yes, anytime someone makes such an accusation without actually having an accuser is just projecting. But, as I tried to explain to that state person, the damage is done. That is why it is such an effective social weapon.

Just listen to any of the conservative arguments on this issue. They are always projecting their predatory thoughts. They'll never talk about relationships or families or anything wholesome. Nope it's all about sex, rape, or "grooming".
