As far as I'm concerned, Gosar's tweet not only was done to incite violence, but was hate speech. Period. Ohhh, I'm sure some people are going to read this post and think I'm overreacting, or being paranoid or whiny or whatever... But this motherfucker, this Nazi motherfucker, went to Twitter and tried to accuse this country's latest mass-murderer of being trans, during a time when we're already being labeled "Groomers", being portrayed as threats to children, being made out to be worse than bin Laden and Hussein (combined?). No facts, no proof, but, these are Republiqans, known for the slogan "FUCK FACTS!"
He said this, knowing it'd reach the eyes and ears of UltraMAGAs, people who have made it clear time and time again that the "solution" to everything is the Second Amendment. This wasn't "an accident." This was intentional. His hope was to add more fuel to the fire in the Nazi vs Trans "war" that exists in 2022 (is it a war when it's one-sided attacks?) He wanted, and still wants, some of his precious gun-humping foaming-at-the-mouth American Taliban to "second amendment solution" trans people. Accuse us of "killing" kids, so that these fucking knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers who are already screaming "STAY AWAY FROM OUR KIDS, GROOMERS!" reach for their guns and kill us.
Gosar should've been banned from Twitter. PERIOD. The fact he hasn't been - even if he deleted the post - proves Twitter is still full of fucking shit on enforcing their rules, especially when it comes to inciting violence. What Gosar did was every bit as rotten and vile as the shit Drumpf was spewing shortly before they had enough and banned his ass.
I'm tired of it. I'm tired of it all. Whether it's Failin' Palin with "Don't retreat, reload!" (which got Gabby Giffords shot), or Drumpf inciting 1/6, or now Gosar trying to incite violence against the trans community, I am beyond fucking tired of these domestic terrorists trying to incite acts of terrorism against "the others." I am tired of living in fear because of sentient scum like Paul Gosar and the basement-dwelling incels of 4chan.
People wonder why I get so worked up here, and push back as much as I do against some of the... less supportive and compassionate stuff toward the trans community here? This. There's a war going on (again, if one-sided attacks are a war?) here. The QOP has made it open-season against the transgender community (as well as LGBTQ's) in 2022. The same ol' "groomer", "they're going after our children!" bullshit. It's been bad enough with over 300 hateful bills written up in 2022 alone. It's bad enough with sentient slime like Carlson and Ingraham ranting and raving about us on the airwaves to their millions of brainwashed MAGAts, along with the help of loyal bigots like Chappelle, Gervais and Maher. But now it's escalated to "Groomers", and now an Arizona Nazi trying to claim one of us shot up a school.
These people are trying to get us killed - either by an UltraMAGA, or by our own hand because fear and despair drives us to our breaking point. The cruelty is the point. Death is the point. And two nights ago, Gross-ar not only fired another salvo at us, but turned up the heat.
There will be a mass shooting where the victims are trans people or participants of Drag Queen Story Time before the year's over. That sickens me to say, but, MAGA's shooting up the country and their puppet masters are doing everything they can to rile up hatred for the trans community.
Then what? Are we going to throw people like Gosar in jail for inciting? Or just "Ho hum, oh well, tots and pears..."? I already expect the QOP to scowl at us and say "You asked for it", or even openly laugh.
Fuck Paul Gosar. Fuck transphobia. Fuck Nazis.
