PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Several hundred protestors gathered outside Sen. Kyrsten Sinemas office in Phoenix on Monday night for a pro-choice rally. The crowd was chanting and holding signs outside the office near 32nd Street and Camelback Road around 7 p.m. Hey hey! Ho ho! Sinema has got to go, the crowd chanted.
Some were seen holding signs advocating for pro-choice and criticizing Sinema. Several signs read bans off our bodies and I wont stay quiet! Several protestors spoke with Arizonas Family about why the protest was held outside the senators office.
Were here to protest against Kyrsten Sinema because the people have put her in a position of power and shes not going with the best interest of what we wanted her to do in the very first place. She made campaign promises that she never upheld because at the end of the day, theres obviously money, politics that got involved. Essentially, we feel, she turned her back on all of us and were here to protest that today, said one woman in attendance.
Mondays protest was the latest in several rallies held by pro-choice supporters. A demonstration was held in Tempe on Sunday night, where a crowd marching down Mill Avenue and University Drive was pepper-sprayed by someone driving by. Tempe police say the pepper spray hit four people, and one had to be hospitalized.

Senator Sinema will definitely lose to an as yet un-named Democrat in the 2024 primaries.

(3,337 posts)Some of her reactions have shown me she's a little too "off the beaten path" for my taste as a responsible steward of the Democratic party.
Too many times, the road less traveled has led her to make decisions not in the best interest of the nation or the party.

Glad that our Dems down there can do it.

(9,090 posts)it broadcasts sports on a hate radio station which helps pressure her and will likely help her fend off primary challengers. it will not favor her over a republican but will heap love on her for holding off filibuster reform - like all republican stations in the state
if the uni starts discussing its endorsement of racist anti-abortion trump loving global warming-denying bullshit it would spread to other universities like these other 86 and advertisers on all republican radio stations will suffer and the radio ad cos would be pressured to break up the monopoly
rw radio is big for pushing manchin sinema and other faux dems around
