I posted in GD about an electrical incident that injured three electricians at a Google data center in Iowa about noon today, but the outage problems didn't start till at least several hours later and are worldwide, so apparently there's no connection to that accident, though it was one of Google's larger data centers.

I work in the industry, happens all the time. I just worked on remediating a major Data Center fire event earlier this year - took weeks to fully recover.
