Four House Republicans vote against bill on international religious freedom
Source: The Hill
The legislation, titled the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom Reauthorization Act, passed in a 402-4 vote. Twenty-six lawmakers did not vote.
Reps. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Chip Roy (R-Texas) voted against the measure.
...snip...
A spokesperson for Massie told The Hill that the congressman voted against the bill because he doesnt want the government involved in religion; he would prefer the government leave religion alone.

(37,090 posts)And turn loose the assessors. The Catholic crime family, I meant church, is first in line.
I was born and raised Catholic, was an altar boy, and to say the least, I have been incredibly disappointed in the Church of Rome.
And maasie I want the church to leave the govt alone, but that aint happening so join me in doing the right thing.
