Scoop: Democrats deploy Biden and Obama to lock down Pennsylvania
Source: Axios
Why it matters: In the final days before the midterms, Democrats are deploying their party's biggest assets in Pennsylvania. The state, which was critical to Biden's 2020 election victory, could determine control of the Senate next year.
Lt. Gov. John Fetterman is locked in a close Senate race with Republican Mehmet Oz, while the current attorney general, Josh Shapiro, has maintained a lead over state Sen. Doug Mastriano in the governor's race.
The big picture: While Biden has been forgoing large political rallies that became the signature midterm political move for his predecessors, he has made several trips this year to Pennsylvania, where Fetterman hasnt shied away from appearing with him.

(8,795 posts)I am old enough to remember trump holding a press conference every damn day. Why cant Joe to that, gets to every state, and hammer women's rights, SS and Medicare being slashed under GQP agenda and his achievements, step by step and his plans to continues helping people, strengthening SS and all health care. Spend that travel money on state candidates top to bottom.

(129,413 posts)and made Delaware his home. So you will see those in the Philly metro area & 'burbs (like you see with all those Phillies fans) back and forth here, whether they live in Jersey or Delaware.
But as a note from the OP article link-
What that neglects to say is that eventually the former became a 1-term President and the latter was re-elected to a 2nd term. So trying to use "number of rallies" for mid-terms as some kind of gauge for something (and especially given the Citizen's United ruling in 2010), seems silly.
