PHILADELPHIA (AP) Hammered the night before, Cristian Javier and the Houston Astros desperately needed to figure how to keep Bryce Harper and the Phillies in the ballpark.
How about a no-hitter, would that do?
Javier and Houstons bullpen combined on just the second no-hitter in World Series history, silencing a booming lineup and boisterous fans as the Astros blanked Philadelphia 5-0 Wednesday night to even the matchup at two games each.
You get slapped in the face yesterday and you want to come back today and make a statement, closer Ryan Pressly said.

(1,766 posts)I'm sure there are things you enjoy that decent people find boring, but we don't post rude things about it if you want to talk about it.
This is a great achievement that those who love the game care about. You wouldn't want people telling you how boring you were if you posted about it, so why do it here?
If you find it boring, ignore the thread or go find something else to post about, rather than being so rude to those who do enjoy the game.

(9,019 posts)Phillies win one, Astros win one, Phillies win one, Astros win one. At this pace, the Phillies will win the series 4-3.
Houston needs to win this next game in Philly to get the edge, then just one win in Houston will do it.

And the answer to both of those questions is no and no.
